It was just last year that we successfully concluded our first flagship conference — The Junction 2017. The 3-day invite-only destination conference created a platform for 300 delegates — leaders and influencers from the startup, government, investor and corporate ecosystems, where — ideas collided, unimagined conversations emerged, deep bonds were formed and, more importantly, where people walked into a world full of ideas and created the future. While The Junction was about creating the future together, there was a pressing need to address the rapid growth of the ecosystem, come together to find a unified voice as a community.
This report and event have been in the making for a while — at least in our minds — but we decided to wait for the right time. For a company as young as ours — quite literally, our average age is 27 — we put in quite a lot of thought into everything we do. We feel that’s the only way to go if one wants to do things right, and to add real value to our readers and the ecosystem.
