Bangalore-based Medikoe, an online hyperlocal healthcare-services discovery provider, has raised $100K in an angel round from Anil Menon, CEO of CMS Computers Ltd.
Launched in October, 2015, by Sreevalsan Menon and Raman Shukla, Medikoe, is an online hyperlocal healthcare-services discovery platform that provides the list of healthcare and wellness services available in the vicinity, and connects the users to these service providers. It also shows available offers by its service providers on its platform.
Medikoe plans to use the funds for expansion in Mumbai and NCR by end of this year, and also get into 20 more cities by first quarter of 2016.
Currently, the firm caters to over 1,800 users, offering them over 100 healthcare related deals. Since its inception, Medikoe has partnered with more than 1500 healthcare service providers and registered over 20,000 searches on the platform.
Few of its partners include Manipal Hospitals, Jiyo Natural (healthy food), NM Medical Diagnostic, Nightingales Home care and Positive Homeopathy.
