Delhi-based counselling & education services firm, Careers360, has acquired Delhi-based Entrancecorner.com, in an all cash deal.
Founded on 31 March 2009 by Naveen Goyal, Shubham Watta and Ravinder Kaushik, EntranceCorner, helps students at different phases of their academic career. They assist these students to explore different careers options, help them make informed career decisions, and equip them with resources to realize their career choice.
The startup also offers different services including guidance from experts in different careers; latest news and updates about careers and exams; social platform to connect with similar students; exam preparation material; free test series; admissions and counseling details etc.
Speaking on the development, Maheshwer Peri, founder of Careers360 said “Entrancecorner.com acquisition will help Careers360 expand its reach and deliver better value to all stakeholders. The need of the hour for all portals is to consolidate, expand audiences and increase yields. It is amazing that Entrancecorner.com has been one of the top student Portals in India despite facing competition from some well-funded portals. We are happy that with this acquisition, our total market reach would be 55% of the higher education aspirants”.
As per the latest google analytics reports, EntranceConer gets about 3 Mn sessions per month . After this acquisition, the entire 20 member team of Entrancecorner.com will move to a new office and operate under the new management.

As for Careers360, it was founded in 2008 by Maheshwer Peri and Rajesh Jain. It is a student community and career counselling platform, which aims to help students take informed decisions. It offers career advices and information on education, jobs and professional options to the youth aged between 17 and 25. In June 2014, Careers360 raised INR 6 Cr. in angel round of funding.
This is Careers360’s 2nd acquisition. Prior to this, it had acquired Mumbai Angels-backed NoPaperForms, an enrollment management platform for educational institutes.
